New: Quota Lottery Entry Period Extended to October 31, 2024

Following Hurricane Helene, the State of Florida is extending the entry period for the 2024 quota beverage license drawing until the end of the month. The announcement and additional information on how to enter is included below.

The 2024 drawing includes 54 newly-available liquor licenses in 32 counties, including Alachua, Bay, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Dade, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Hernando, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Leon, Manatee, Marion, Okaloosa, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Polk, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sumter, Volusia, and Walton.

NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF 2024 QUOTA BEVERAGE LICENSE DRAWING ENTRY PERIOD

RULE NO.: 61A-5.0105   Selection of Applicants for Quota Alcoholic Beverage Licenses by Public Drawing

In accordance with DBPR Amended Emergency Order 24-08, the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco will extend the 2024 Quota Beverage License Drawing Entry Period. Whereas the previous entry period ended at 5:00 p.m. on October 2, 2024, the end date has been extended to 5:00 p.m. on October 31, 2024. Interested entrants may enter online by visiting the Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s website: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/online-services/, or obtain the entry form through any district office of the Division or by visiting the Division’s website: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/alcoholic-beverages-and-tobacco/. 

Each filing of the FORM DBPR ABT 6033 must be accompanied by the entry fee of $100 per entry.  Payments of the entry fee will be accepted by check or money order, payable to the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, for entries by mail, or by credit card for online entries.  Interested entrants may mail or hand deliver the completed entry form, accompanied by the required entry fee, to: Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Attn: Quota Beverage License Drawing, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1019.
