Hospitality Regulators Prepare Outdoor Cooking Rules

During the pandemic, many Florida restaurants adopted or leaned into outdoor grills and other equipment. This week, the Division of Hotels and Restaurants published draft rule language related to outdoor equipment at a public food service establishment.

61C-4.010 Sanitation and Safety Requirements

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rulemaking is to amend Rule 61C-4.010, F.A.C., to incorporate terms and requirements related to the allowance of outdoor equipment at a public food service establishment.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Outdoor equipment.
