New: Florida DABT Requiring Online Accounts for Licensees
In a July 31, 2024 notice, Director Patrick Cunningham of the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages shared information regarding the state’s new requirement that applicant and existing licensees maintain an online account with the agency.

Dear Valued Licensee:
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s (DBPR) Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco values your business in the State of Florida. To streamline and enhance customer service, the process of renewing or seeking a license or permit will now be available online. Please review the following new requirements issued with House Bill 1335 (Chapter 2024-178) effective July 1, 2024:
All individuals and businesses licensed or permitted by DBPR’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, or applying for such a license or permit, are required to create and maintain an account with the Division's online system.
Licensees must provide an email address to serve as the primary form of communication with the Division.
All applicants seeking a license or permit are now required to file their application through DBPR’s online system. Please note, DBPR will assist walk-in applicants and applicants who submit their application via mail to create accounts and submit their applications through the online system
If you have not registered for an online account with DBPR, you must register to continue using DBPR’s licensing services. Please visit our website at https://www2.myfloridalicense.com to create an online account. It is important that your contact information remains updated and active to receive important communications from the Division regarding your license or permit. Account changes or updates may also be made by visiting http://www2.myfloridalicense.com

The use of the online system will allow for a fast, easy, efficient, secure, and reliable means of applying for a license or permit.
The Division will continue to accept paper copies of maintenance applications by visiting ABT’s Full List of Maintenance Applications.
